Wish it was like the older model, but NO COUNTDOWN TIMER. My son has been ordering the Timex 1440 for the past many years. It has been a great watch. The bands tend to wear out in about two years of constant and hard use. I was fine with that. It is an affordable watch and we’ve replaced the batteries, but never had a watch fail (only the band, which is not replaceable). This newer model looks exactly the same as the older 1440 and has all the features, EXCEPT the countdown timer, which was a must for him. It still has all the other features,…
