An inexpensive Gear substitute. (kinda, see update) UPDATE: I’ve had this watch for almost 3 months, using it 5 days a week. Although the watch itself is very functional, the app that I have to use to connect it to my phone is garbage. But for my android it’s great. Here’s the scoop. I have an android Samsung s5 active everything syncs and works well. Haven’t figured out the Web browser yet though. But sms and calls it all works. Tricky to get it synced. Turn the watch on scroll right till you see “quick response” scan the qr barcode with your phone. It will download but not open. Find it in your downloads and allow it to open because it’s from an outside source. One that is all done you can make calls but no sms. So you have to go to Google play…
