I bought thiswatch to have the ABC functions for a 2 week … I bought this watch to have the ABC functions for a 2 week trip to Philmont Scout Ranch with my son. It performed great. I could calibrate the altimeter to a known setting and track our ascent/descent, only being off by 4 feet after a 2000+ foot ascent. Most of the times it was within 50-100 feet. The compass would self-calibrate most days after the start of a hike. It was useful for ”quick looks” to confirm our heading. Lots of other useful functions also. This is a great multipurpose…
