Great Watch — Not a great Dive Watch — Great if you have skin allergies I love this watch. I’ve worn it minute of every day for the past year or more. I would have given it 5 stars, but I had to take into account some inaccuracies. First, let me tell you why I love this watch. It looks great, and it keeps time very well. I love the fact that it tells me the day, time, and date at a glance. Also, I am allergic to nickle and the 100% stainless steel back piece does not react with my skin and cause irritation the way most watches do. This is really all I ask of…
Time = great, Depth = no go I was excited to use this watch on my dives, but will not be trusting the information. First dive trip, SPG said 75 ft, watch said 66 ft. Second dive trip, SPG said 45 ft, watch log said 80 ft (log still on my watch), second dive on that trip, SPG said 40 ft, watch said 31.8 ft. I’ll be watching it closely on the next dive trip, but I’m sad that it isn’t working as it should. Keep shopping for an affordable dive computerTime seems to be really excellent. In my job, time to the…
Just suck it up and buy a dive computer So, This is adequate if absolutely all you want is a log of your dive. As others have mentioned, the fact that it resets with no delay when you surface is annoying. I.e. you surface for 10 seconds to locate the boat and go back down and it counts as a whole new dive. However, I quickly found this watch didn’t allow for any of the planning that you would want a dive device to do. I.e. my first dive was 22 minutes at 80 ft. 2nd dive is 50 ft, how long can I stay down? Nope this watch…
