Simple to use, works as described. This is a lightweight watch with blue backlighting, alarm, stopwatch, interchangeable 12/24 hour timekeeping, and a secondary time zone function (useful, I suppose, if you travel frequently). The light plastic and simple rubber wristband feel cheap, but appropriate given the $17 price. The case (the clear face part of the watch) is acrylic so I expect it to not take scratches well in the future, and the back is stainless steel, secured with screws. Good watch, excellent value Purchased this after a Casio Solar went bad on me. For less than half the price, this Armitron has similar specs (100 m water resistant). I’m facing the reality that any such “beater” watch – used for the gym, chores, etc. – just won’t last more than a couple years. But for under $14, it’s a not a bad investment.The crystal is just plastic and has no protection such as a raised bezel so I anticipate that it will scratch fairly easily and frequently.
