Smart and Sporty (Updated 8/16/18, deducted 3 stars) The Gear Sport is the perfect combination of Smart and Sporty. Samsung has made improvements over the Gear S3. The most important thing for me is that the heart rate sensor is protruding out of the watch instead of flat. Fell apart in the pool, Samsung service is INCOMPETENT The watch looks good on paper, but if you’re a swimmer, DO NOT PURCHASE. There is a monitor on the bottom of the watch, covered by a tiny plate. The plate is GLUED IN and apparently the glue is water-soluble. The plate fell off while swimming, killing the device.
