The energizer bunny of economical watches. This is a great watch. I speak from direct experience. I first received this exact model in January, 1998. With the exception of dress occasions I have worn this model of watch every day for these 17+ years. And, It has worked perfectly every day all those years, all functions. I wore it hiking, lap swimming, hauling, gardening, home improving, and all the every day activities in between. I was even hit by inattentive SUV drivers while riding my bike on two separate occasions. Both times I…
View CommentBEST watch ever! Much smaller/more practical than G-Shock! Easy on wrists for pushups, doesn’t snag As you can see from the photo, this watch is much smaller and more practical than a Casio G-SHOCK! I’ve owned many G-Shocks and other men’s watches over the years and this watch is 10mm smaller in diameter (35mm vs 45mm+). That’s great! FIIIINALLY I can have a good, solid, durable athletic watch with ALL THE FEATURES I WANT (time, stop watch, count-down timer with auto-repeat option, etc), and withOUT snagging on everything, jamming so much into my wrists during pushups, and being so heavy and…

Unfortunately it’s technology is unchanged (or worse).1) countdown timer: Cannot be heard unless the watch is at your ear – literally! I’m expect the same is true of the alarm since they both use whatever makes the 1dB noise. On an earlier version I’d use that feature while cooking out. Now I’d just as soon not have it at all…it’s 100% useless and is just dead weight when cycling…
